Holy Saturday Easter Vigil

The women saw how his body was laid; and they prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment. Luke 23:55,56

This day - Easter Eve - has an empty feel about it: suspended between the tragedy of Good Friday and the triumph of Easter Sunday.

This is the night, when all who believe in Christ are delivered from the gloom of sin, and are restored to grace and holiness of life.

This is the night, when Christ broke the bonds of death and hell, and rose victorious from the grave.
